That being said, the amplifier works perfectly with my external monitor, but not with my laptop monitor, even when i unplug my external monitor and only have my laptop plugged into it.
Originally both monitors would be run by the eGPU from the amplifier (gtx 1070), but for a while i only used on monitor, and I decided to run both again so I can watch youtube videos while playing video games it would make everything lag since it used only my iGPU for my laptop, and my game is heavily CPU dependent.
I have been using the alienware amplifier with an external monitor that's 144hz. Lately I've been playing video games that bottleneck my CPU and not my GPU.
